Terminal 1 (T1) is the largest terminal at the airport and one of the largest in Latin America. It operates both domestic and international flights and houses airlines such as American Airlines, Air Canada, United, Iberia, among others.

Halls and Gates
Terminal 1 has a distribution of gates and halls divided into several sections:
- Hall A: Gates 1-6 (mainly domestic flights)
- Hall B: Gates 7-11 (domestic and international flights)
- Hall C: Gates 20-29 (international and connections)
- Hall D: Gates 30-36 (international and flights from airlines such as United, Lufthansa, Air France, etc.)
- Hall E and F: Dedicated to international flights from specific airlines
Many travelers have pointed out that the signage in this terminal can be confusing.
Terminal 2: The Most Modern and Compact
Terminal 2 (T2) is newer and more modern, designed to improve passenger transit efficiency. Aeroméxico and its associated airlines operate mostly from here, along with airlines like Delta and Copa Airlines.

T2 is usually easier to navigate, although travelers have reported that it still faces maintenance problems and long waits at immigration.
Connection Between Terminals: Aerotrén and Buses
The terminals are separated by more than 3 km, so transportation is required to move between them.
Aerotrén

- Access: Only with a valid boarding pass for the same day
